Elline Surianello, LeMetric Hair Center INC
New York native Elline Surianello began suffering from hair loss
at the age of 9. Now, in her 50s, she has gone full-circle with
this issue: the devastation, the depression, the frustration,
the anger, and now the take-charge woman who has found a way
to feel beautiful in her own skin. After years of dead end solutions,
Elline took it upon herself to start her own company, LeMetric
Hair Center INC, www.LeMetric.com; a company that deals with
women’s hair loss in a safe, NATURAL, non-invasive, high-end

Chris and Fayne Bouguyon team-teach this

of martial arts and
is the Senior Tai Chi Instructor for the Arthritis Foundation
of Texas. Based on the Sun style and recommended by Rheumatologists,
Tai Chi from the Arthritis Foundation is specifically designed
for people with joint sensitivities and for those wanting a gentle
approach to exercise. Some of the many benefits from this program
include better balance, improved posture, increased muscle tone,
greater concentration & coordination, reduced pain, and an
overall feeling of wellbeing.

Kiran Robertson, MD
Dr. Kiran Robertson has a thriving Internal
Medicine practice and recently expanded her services to include
non-surgical cosmetic

The North Texas area has been experiencing extreme drought conditions
being compared to the 1950s drought of record. Ms. Hickey will
provide information on the importance of water, an update on the
drought and future water planning efforts. |

Peripheral Biofeedback:
A Unique Treatment Approach In Counseling
Rusty Lozano M.Ed, LPC-Intern, BCIA-C, IM-C University of North Texas
Biofeedback is a method used to teach a person control of different bodily functions
in order to increase feelings of calm and relaxation as well as reduce pain and
discomfort. Biofeedback is commonly used to treat the following:
o Stress
o Chronic Pain
o Raynaud's Disorder
o Anxiety
o TMJ Jaw Pain
o High Blood Pressure
o Tension
o Muscle PainRusty is a doctoral candidate at the University of
North Texas at Denton in the counseling development and higher education
program and currently serves
as the assistant director of the University’s peripheral biofeedback
lab. He is a licensed professional counselor intern; a certified biofeedback
therapist; and a certified Interactive Metronome trainer. Rusty specializes
in anxiety, phobias and cognitive behavioral therapy. He is in private practice
in North Dallas and works with children, adolescent, and adult biofeedback,
as well as individual counseling and groups. |
